A special commission of experts has found that the Voluntari mayor Florentin Pandele and the former Interior Minister Petre Toba have plagiarized their doctorate theses.

The commission, which has submitted its analysis report to the National Council for Certification of Titles, Diplomas and University Certificates (CNATDCU), has asked for the withdrawal of the doctor titles for Pandele and Toba, reports local Agerpres.

The General Council of CNATDCU has to give its vote on the expert commission's report until October 11.

At the beginning of September CNATDCU rejected the analysis report of the first special commission in the case of Pandele and Toba’s doctorate theses, and decided to appoint a new commission. The first group of experts decided that the two authors didn’t plagiarize.
