Bucharest District 3 city council allocated EUR 20 million to modernize several green areas in the district.

The work includes land leveling and creating diaphragms for earth retention where it is necessary, creating concrete structures, paving alleys, pruning trees, assembling fences or installing irrigation systems. The work should be carried out in three months, reports local Hotnews.ro.

The amounts allocated via a public procurement acquisition are maximal, meaning that they could have been lower.
