Yet another week-end full of events in Bucharest, so again plenty of things to choose from if you're staying in the capital city. There's the Damian Draghici concert coming up on Friday evening, the Sex Pistol Experience (in picture) event on Saturday- both of them not to miss. The Mono Jacks, the Logistics concerts and two tribute events, for Michael Jackson and for U2 will fill your week-end evenings. During the day, you can choose the Earth Market - traditional, healthy products - or Kilipirim - the bargains fair.

Calea Victoriei Foundation, City Compass and Artmark organize a workshop about great Romanian women on November 13 at the Artmark Gallery (18 Logofat Luca Stroici St. MAP ) starting 11,00 hours. The conference will be held by Silvia Timofte.
Canadian pop-soul artist Melanie Fiona will perform in Bucharest on December 2, in the Fratelli Club in Bucharest (1 Glodeni St), from 23,00 hours. The artist, known for songs like 'Give it to me right' and 'It kills me' (listen to both songs below), is on tour, promoting her latest album, 'The Bridge'
The Romanian city of Sibiu will host the Sibiu World Music Festival 2010 between November 12 and 14. The event is organized by the Sibiu Jazz festival foundation and will take place in the Thalia Hall of the State Philharmonic of Sibiu. Ticket prices are RON 20 and RON 10 for pupils/students/pensioners.
Swedish band Roxette will perform in Romania for the first time on May 30 next year, at Zone Arena, according to Emagic, which organizes the concert. Roxette fans from Romania and the CEE region will be able to listen to Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson in a concert which is included in the band's world tour scheduled for 2011.
Tango aficionados will be able to enjoy a new show by the Argentinian Tango Passion dance company, on November 16 at Sala Palatului, from 19,00 hours. The show became famous in Romania in 2002, when it was featured within the JTI Meetings series of events.
A treasure hunt type of event helping you discover Bucharest will take place on November 13 in Gradina Icoanei park in the capital city, from 11,00 hours to 16,00 hours. The contest Bucharest Photo Treasure Hunt - Seek Your Culture, organized by the Association Young Initiative, could be a fun way to spend a Saturday in the city, discover the Romanian capital city, take some pictures and mingle with locals.
American experimental music performer Laurie Anderson will hold a concert in Bucharest on November 11, at the Ion Dacian Operetta Theater (2 Nicolae Balcescu Blvd), from 19,00 hours. The concert is part of a wider event, the International Festival 'Life is Beautiful', which takes place between November 4 and 14 in Bucharest.
The La Scala di Milan string quartet will perform in Romania on December 2 at the Sala Palatului in Bucharest from 19,30 hours. It is for the first time when the quartet, made of Francesco Manara, Pierangelo Negri, Simonide Braconi and Massimo Polidori, leading performers of the La Scala di Milan orchestra ever holds a concert in Bucharest.
