US company IBM company could open a new research center in Targu Mures, central Romania, the company's 11th worldwide center. IBM executive director Spiros Teleoglou and IBM Research executive director Christos J. Georgiou paid a visit to Targu Mures last week and talked about this possibility with the city hall representatives.

A 49 year-old woman has died Friday in Bucharest from severe bite wounds inflicted by stray dogs. The woman was found badly injured and in hypothermic and hemorrhagic shock Tuesday in the courtyard of the city's sector 5 Public Domain Administration. The building is under conservation and no employees were there and the woman was reportedly attacked by a pack of stray dogs.
