Two new expats will join the Petrom broad of directors from January 2011. The Credit Europe Bank shareholders have recently approved the appointment of Omer Tetik, the first vice-president of Credit Europe Romania Bank, as president and head of the Administration Council. Tetik replaces Murat Sabaz, who will stay in the bank’s board. Omer Tetik will start on the new job once the Romanian Central Bank (BNR) approves the management change.

Romanian capital city Bucharest will host a Danube Summit from November 8, an event that is expected to reconfirm in a final declaration the political support for the future EU's Danube Strategy. The event precedes the December summit meeting of the European Council, where the European Commission will unveil a draft action plan for the Danube Strategy, with a final version to be approved by the June 2011 summit meeting of the European Council.
