The Romanian Central Bank (BNR) has approved Omer Tetik's naming as the president and head of the administration council for Credit Europe Bank. Tetik (in picture) aims to relaunch the bank's lending activity this year, while increasing operational efficiency, he said.
Presidential counselor Alexandra Gatej (in picture) has resigned from the position she has held since July 2009 with the Presidential Administration following the 'speculative and denigrating' public approach of the news of her being recruited by the Securitate in 1989. Gatej will return to the private business environment, she has said.
Pascal Prigent is the new general manager of GlaxoSmithKline Romania, replacing Patrick Desbiens, who has been promoted within GsK France. Prigent joins GsK from another drug producer Eli Lilly France, where he ran marketing and sales.
