A series of 12 British documentaries will be screened weekly on Mondays between October 4 and December 20 at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Bucharest, the British Council has announced. The screenings are part of the British Documentary project started by the British Council in Bucharest.

Famous 80's singers Sabrina and Samantha Fox will arrive this autumn in the Romanian capital city. The 80’s music lovers will have the opportunity to see them performing a live show at Sala Palatului on November, 26, according to Project Events, organizers of the concert.

The Sports and Friends association and Hospice Casa Sperantei will organize a fundraising party on Thursday, September 30, at the Fourteen Bar in Bucharest, starting 20,30 hours. The Sport and Friends team, which will run for the Hospice Casa Sperantei cause at the Bucharest City Marathon on October 17, will raise funds from entry tickets and raffle tickets and donate them to the charity.

Art production foundation and Japan Tobacco International Romania will organize a new edition of the JTI Meetings (Intalnirile JTI) cultural event in October, when a choreography show featuring Sylvie Guillem and Russell Maliphant will take place at the National Theater in Bucharest.

Romanian-born writer Herta Muller, winner of the Nobel Prize for Litterature in 2009, will be in Romania on Monday and Tuesday, September 27 and 28, where she was invited by the Humanitas Fiction publishing house and by the Goethe Institute.
