World Snow Day will be celebrated on Sunday, January 18, in the Romanian mountain resort of Sinaia for the first time. The event will include free ski lessons for children, ski competitions and educational activities with and about snow, according to local authorities in Sinaia.

These will be hosted by the Partia Noua- Gondola 1 ski slope. This year’s edition of World Snow Day will take place in 500 ski resorts in 43 countries. The event is initiated by the International Ski Federation to promote snow activities.
