New venue for Violetta Live concert in Romania

10 July 2015

The Violetta Live concert in Romania will take place in Constitutiei Square, in front of the Parliament’s Palace in Bucharest and not in the National Arena as initially announced.

The event’s organizer in Romania, Emagic, decided to change the venue due to logistic reasons, according to an official announcement.

The Violetta Live concert takes place on September 2, and on September 7 Romania’s national football team will play against Greece in the qualifiers for the EURO 2016. The five-day window between the two events would have made it impossible for the National Arena’s managers to make the pitch ready for the match.

According to Emagic, the tickets that have already been sold are still valid, as the set up in the Constitutiei Square will be similar to that in the National Arena. The seats may, however, change numbers, so those who have already bought tickets should check on the myticket.ro and eventim.ro ticketing websites to see if their seats have changed.

Tickets for the concert are still selling on the two websites for prices starting at RON 135 (EUR 30).

Violetta Live is a one of the most popular shows for children in the world. The concert features the characters of a popular Argentinian telenovela broadcasted by the Disney Channel. The main character is 18-years old Argentinian actress Martina Stoessel, who plays Violetta.
