Romanian policemen to prevent pickpocketing at Amsterdam Gay Pride festival

Five Romanian policemen will go to the Netherlands to take part in an operative mission at the Amsterdam Gay Pride festival, which will take place from July 31 to August 3, according to an official statement of the Romanian Police. The five officers will grant support and assistance to Dutch authorities in detecting pickpockets.

This mission is part of the cooperation agreement between the Romanian and Dutch police forces for 2014-2015, which covers human trafficking, drug trafficking, computer crime and property related crimes.

This is the third mission Romanian policemen attend in the Netherlands, after the King's Day, in April 25-27, and the Indian Summer Festival, in June 13-16.
