Regina Maria appoints former Banca Transilvania deputy GM Ionut Patrahau as CEO

Ionut Patrahau, the former deputy general manager of Banca Transilvania, is the new CEO of private healthcare operator Regina Maria, starting January 9, according to the company. He is replacing Tim Elsigood who remains in the healthcare network’s Board of Directors.

Regina Maria was founded by Dr. Wargha Enayati and his wife, Mitra Enayati. The private healthcare provider runs three medical campuses, six hospitals and 18 clinics in Bucharest and around the country, and works with 1,000 doctors. Centrul Medical Unirea (CMU), which together with Euroclinic re-branded under the name Regina Maria, posted an estimated EUR 30 million in 2010.
