Heineken names Onno Rombouts at helm of Romanian subsidiary

Beer producer Heineken appointed Onno Rombouts to lead its Romanian subsidiary, replacing Jan Derck van Karnebeek, who was promoted president of Central and Eastern European region with the beer maker.

Before joining the Romanian division, Rombouts led the Asian Pacific division, being headquartered in Singapore. He has been working for the beer producer for the last 20 years.

Heineken runs four factories in Romania, at Miercurea Ciuc, Constanţa, Craiova and Mureş. The company's turnover last year was of some EUR 245 million, up 11.5 percent.
