German pump producer ups Romania turnover by over a third
The local subsidiary of German pump producer Wilo SE posted last year a turnover of EUR 19.5 million, up 37% over 2013.
The increase in sales was due to the higher number of contracts, according to company representatives.
The market has matured and the German group managed to take away projects from competitors, said Alin Gorga, head of Wilo Romania, cited by local Mediafax.
The company equipped the SkyTower office building in Bucharest, which is the highest building in the country. SkyTower’s owners paid EUR 300,000 to buy the water pumping system from Wilo.
