The best selling car models on the Romanian market last year were the Dacia Logan, the Skoda Octavia and the Renault Clio. Although Dacia Logan cars were the most sold on the Romanian market, the 15,808 units in total sales last year represented an almost 31 percent drop from 2010, according to the Romanian Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association.

Skoda Octavia sales of 4,318 cars puts the model in second place, pushing the Renault Clio into the third position with 3,920 units sold. For sales by manufacturer, Dacia leads with 28,337 units sold, followed by Volkswagen with 10,043 units and Skoda with 8,260.
