Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) has promoted Christian Bruckner as Chief Financial Officer and Member of Erste Group's Committee of Directors. The move means Romanian Paul Ursaciuc will take over his old position - Chief Operating Officer of BCR.

According to BCR  Bruckner has made a significant contribution as COO for BCR. The new COO Paul Ursaciuc  was previously the Executive Director of internal auditing.

Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), a member of Erste Group, is a leading financial group in Romania based on assets.

The bank recorded net losses to the tune of EUR 124.9 million for the first half of 2012, while January and June last year BCR saw a net profit of EUR 37.8 million. The loss was mainly triggered by provisioning, according to the bank.
