Baby jaguar is the new attraction of Sibiu Zoo

21 July 2014

A baby jaguar that was born in captivity in May this year is the new attraction of the Sibiu Zoo, which is the oldest zoo in Romania.

The jaguar was named May and was fed by bottle by the zookeepers. His best friend is a stray dog that’s just a few days older. The baby jaguar has been kept quarantined for the first two months to allow him to adapt.

Starting mid-July, visitors of the Sibiu Zoo can see the baby jaguar, between 10 and 15 o’clock each day, depending on weather conditions. The Sibiu Zoo hosts more than 200 animals from 52 species.
