The Sibiu World Music Festival will again bring a whole world of music to Transylvania, in Romania, with an exciting line-up including musicians from many different regions and cultures. The event starts on October 26 at the Gong Theater in Sibiu, central Romania.

Some of the artists appearing this year are the Trei Parale orchestra, the Shannon Céilí Band (Ireland, Romania)- in picture, Bordo Sarkany (Hungary), Biu Marquetti (Cuba, Peru, Chile, Colombia) and Amaro Del (Serbia), as well as Narcis Iustin Ianau from the Romanians have talent television show.

Launched in 2007 as part of Sibiu's European Capital of Culture, the festival has become an annual event, uniting musicians playing folk and traditional music, old and new, from around the world.
