The first edition of Bucharest Photo Week started on September 5 and will end on September 14 and in Bucharest.

Visitors will be able to take part to 15 exhibitions, 12 photography workshops, 10 screenings of photography and film, with over 100 photographers involved. These events will take place downtown Bucharest, between the Unirii Boulevards and Kisellef Boulevard.

The event, at its first edition in 2014, aims to increase awareness of the role that photography plays in everyone’s life.

The project is part of Bucharest 555, supported by ArCuB and Bucharest Municipality. The full list of events and the venues is here.
