Over 200 Romanian wines to taste at special event in Bucharest next week

16 October 2015

Wine lovers and professionals will have the chance to taste more than 200 wines made by 15 Romanian producers, next week. This year’s edition of Vintest – I Love Romanian Wine expo will be organized between October 21 and October 23, at Green Gate Business Center in Bucharest.

“There will be 10 themed wine tastings for three days. All of them will have substance and will highlight the Romanian wine, the producers, the wine cellars as touristic destinations, and the professionals,” said Lucia Pîrvu, expert taster and organizer of the event, cited by local Agerpres.

“In Romania, there are many people who love the Romanian wine, but we want to address to the final consumer, to educate him on how to buy a good wine not only when he is at a special event,” she added.

Some of the producers to be present at the event are Domeniile Anastasia, Vinarte, DDM Urlati, SCDVV Pietroasa, Crama Hermeziu, Crama Dealul Dorului, Cramele Cricova, Crama Ratești, Domeniile Samburesti, and Domeniile Sara.

A new project called Legendary Dracula will also be presented during the event. The project aims to gather several wine producers under the same brand.

An entry ticket at the event costs RON 25 (EUR 5.6).

Wine lovers can also find a selection of local producers and wines at the Expo Drink&Wine that will take place at Romexpo between October 28 and November 1.
