The Bucharest metro traffic will halt tomorrow, June 1st, only during the morning, between 04,00 and 12,00 hours. The workers unions from Metrorex, the company which runs the Bucharest metro, had previously said they would join the general strike tomorrow between 04,00 and 16,00 hours, which would have impacted the traffic in Bucharest during most of the day.

The Romanian Railways Company (CFR) has also decided not to join the general strike on June 2nd, as it was initially planning, because it has failed to raise enough signatures from its employees in order to start the strike.
