Romania will sign a new loan agreement with the International Monetary Fund in 2011 to finance its budget deficit, Romanian President Traian Basescu said Tuesday.

Marinis Stratopoulos is the new general manager of Banca Romaneasca, a local lender majority owned by the National Bank of Greece group. His appointment has been cleared by the Romanian Central Bank (BNR).
