Da Capo – ArCuB Chamber Music Series starts in mid-October in Bucharest

Da Capo – ArCuB Chamber Music Series 2015/2016, the first series of chamber music concerts in Bucharest with international participation, will start on October 15. The opening concert, supported by Vlad Stanculeasa, Razvan Popovici, Valentin Radutiu and Oliver Triendl, will take place at ArCuB’s Grand Hall on Lipscani street.

The program includes works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Milan Mihajlović, Edward Elgar, Niccolò Paganini, Vladimir Mendelssohn, and George Enescu. Tickets cost RON 50 and RON 30 and can be purchased online from eventim.ro.

“The first Da Capo concerts will feature famous Romanian musicians from diaspora, such as violinist Vlad Stanculeasa and cellist Valentin Radutiu, the Schumann Quartet from Cologne, one of the most acclaimed young German quartets, and the Enescu Trio from Frankfurt, conducted by excellent violinist of Romanian origin Alina Tambra,” said Razvan Popovici, the curator of the event.

Da Capo’s program includes a total of eight concerts. There will be a concert each month, and the event will end in May 2016.
