Business and gourmet with a Belgian touch at the Crowne Plaza this April

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bucharest will be home to the Belgian Week starting April 22, an event which will celebrate the EUR 2 billion Romania -Belgium trade, as well as the Belgian food.

It will all be about business networking, and tasting the Belgian food until May 1 at the Belgian Week.

Three special menus, Brussels, Flanders and Ardennes, will be available for lunch and dinner at the Crowne Plaza's Brasserie and La Veranda restaurants during this event.

On Thursday, April 24, the Belgian Business Day will take place, while on Sunday, April 27, the brunch served in the hotel will have a Belgian touch.

The event is organized by Crowne Plaza, the Belgium Embassy to Bucharest and the Business Association Belgium – Romania.

The value of trade between Romania and Belgium stood at EUR 2 billion in 2013, up 13 percent on the previous year. Belgian investments in Romania can be found in logistics, warehousing, outsourcing and nearsourcing, real estate, retail.
