Apple's Machintosh computers have reached a market share of 2.08 percent on the Romanian market, according to a recent study conducted by Trafic.ro. Most Mac users in Romania live in the capital city Bucharest, with 60 percent of the total. Bucharest is followed by Timisoara, Cluj Napoca, Iasi, Constanta, Brasov, Oradea and Targu Mures. According to the study, there are 94,000 Mac computers in Bucharest.

The lowest number of Apple computer users are in Covasna, Ialomita, Teleorman, Tulcea and Calarasi. In terms of market share, the biggest number of Mac computer users in Romania are located in cities like Corbeanca, Predeal and Puchenii Mari.

Internationally, according to a study by Pingdom based on information taken from research firm StatCounter, countries where Apple Macintosh computers are the most popular is Switzerland with a 17.6 percent share, Luxembourg with 15.7 percent and U.S. with 15.3 percent.

Trafic.ro monitors the traffic of websites in Romania and has included 40,000 websites in this study.
