Wizz Air to operate three new routes from Romania next year

Low-cost airline Wizz Air will operate three new routes from Romania next year, the company has announced.

As of March 28, 2016, the company will add a new flight on the Cluj-Napoca – Munich Memmingen route. The flights will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

Wizz Air will also open two new routes from Bucharest. On May 20, 2016, the airline will start operating the new flight to Hamburg Lubeck, while the next day, on May 21, the company will also launch the flight to Glasgow. Both flights will be operated twice a week.

With these new routes, the company will reach 95 routes to 15 countries, from 8 local airports. Tickets for the new flights are already on sale for prices starting from RON 129 (some EUR 29), and can be booked on the company’s website.

Wizz Air will also increase the frequency of some of its flights, such as the ones linking Bucharest and Timisoara to London Luton, and those between Cluj-Napoca and Nuremberg, Brussels Charleroi, and Malmo. It will also add a new aircraft to its fleet, namely an A321 Airbus with 230 places.
