Two Grigorescu paintings in Romania sold for EUR 0.46 mln
Two paintings signed by Romanian painter Nicolae Grigorescu have been recently sold for EUR 250,000 and EUR 210,000 respectively, during an auction organized by the Artmark auction house in Bucharest.
The paintings called 'Ciobanas pe valea Doftanei' (Shepherd on DoftanaValley- in picture) and 'Intoarcere de la targ' (Getting back form the fair) were sold during the auction at the mentioned prices.
Artmark has set the record on the Romanian art market with the EUR 270,000 painting by Nicolae Grigorescu earlier this year.
The most recent Artmak auction, focusing on Romanian Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, raised EUR 1.29 million in total sales.
