Three Romanian students won three medals at this year’s edition of the International Biology Olympiad organized in Bali, Indonesia, according to the Ministry of Education. Mircea Dan Mirea won a silver medal, while Maria-Teodora Ilie and Andrei Moldovanugot bronze.

A total of 244 competitors from 61 countries participated at this year’s edition of the International Biology Olympiad organized in Indonesia between July 4 and July 13.
