The Romanian National Bank - BNR’s foreign exchange reserves amounted to EUR 29.34 billion at the end of August, up by EUR 189 million compared to the end of July. The BNR recorded inflows of EUR 654 million in August and outflows of EUR 465 million last month.

The gold reserve stood at 103.7 tons, and its value amounted to EUR 3.3 billion, at the end of August.

The payments due in September 2015, for the foreign currency denominated public debt, totaled EUR 349 million.
