Romania’s Authority for Animal Surveillance to pay EUR 61,000 for cleaning and feeding sheltered dogs

The Romanian Authority for Animal Surveillance and Protection ASPA will pay some RON 270,000 (EUR 61,000) for cleaning services and feeding dogs in the shelters located in Bragadiru, Mihailesti, Theodor Pallady and Oltenitei, after Bucharest Rahova Penitentiary won the tender for these services.

According to representatives of the municipality cited by local Mediafax, the contract was awarded to the company which had “the lowest price” and was concluded until December 31, 2014, with the possibility to be further extended until April 30, 2015.

According to the tender documentation, the services will be provided by a total of 30 people, seven days a week, eight hours a day, between 8,00 and 16,00.
