Romanian railway company CFR plans to sell over 35,000 tonnes of scrap metal

Romanian railway company CFR has scheduled two public auctions in July, through which it plans to sell a total of over 35,500 tonnes of scrap metal on the local commodities exchange (BRM), reports local Mediafax. The total amount of metal is divided in 12 lots and the minimum starting price is USD 335 per tonne.

Under these procedures, CFR aims to sell materials recovered from rehabilitation, repair and maintenance works.

The deadlines for submitting the bids are July 2 (4 lots) and July 3 (8 lots).
