Romanian Silviu Munteanu ranked second in the Coppa Italia, Pizza di Qualita European Pizza Championship organized on June 9-10 in Italy’s Marina di Camerota, situated in the province of Salerno, Campania, reports local Emigrantul.eu. Over 200 people from different regions in Italy competed in the championship.

Munteanu is a culinary enthusiast who likes to compete in different contests. Last year, at the World Pizza Championship in Ciampino, the province of Rome, he ranked fifth out of 500 participants.

This year’s competition is aimed at promoting pizza professionals, not only those who already obtained prizes, but also those who wanted to how their culinary skills at this event, reports Emigrantul.eu.
