The Administration Council of Millennium Bank Romania has named Jose Reino da Costa as a new general director, replacing Jose Toscano after six years in the post.

Jose Reino da Costa, aged 48, has international experience in finance, accumulated in over 14 years since he started working in Millennium Group bcp. Before coming to Romania, he worked in various countries, such as Portugal, Macao and Angola.

In the last four years he has been the general manager of Millennium Bank in Angola, where, the banks claims, he contributed significantly to the development of the bank on the Angolan market.

Millennium Bank is part of the private finance group from Portugal, Millennium bcp and started its activity on the Romanian market in 2007, opening 39 branches in Bucharest and eight other cities in the country. Millennium Bank Romania now has 65 branches and 700 employees.
