The International Comedy Film Festival in Cluj-Napoca begins on Friday, October 8, with a comedy film starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Bill Nighty, called 'The boat that rocked'. This is a monthly themed event in Bucharest created by the founders of Future Shorts Romania together with the founders of Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF). The event consists in two hours of high quality short films of all times, that make together a certain theme and are being projected on screen for the short movie lovers.

Romania will have a book stand at the Frankfurt International Book Fair which takes place between October 6 and 10 in Germany. The Romanian stand at the fair is organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Patrimony.

British band Morcheeba will return to Romania for a concert on October 5 at the Sala Palatului in Bucharest. The concert will start at 20,30 hours and ticket prices will vary from RON 90 to RON 200. Tickets can be bought from eventim.ro.
