Over half of Romania's SMEs expect economic stagnation

Over 57% of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Romania estimate that this year’s economic trend will be similar to the one from 2014.

More than a quarter of the companies (28.37%) expect a downward trend, whereas 14.52% estimate that the trend will be positive, reports local Agerpres.

Romanian SME managers do not share the analysts’ prognosis on Romania, which have estimated that the economy will grow this year, according to the White Paper of SMEs - 2015 edition.

The small companies record the highest number of decision makers who estimate that the economic situation will stagnate (68%). In contrast, bigger companies have more managers that expect an upward trend in the economy.
