The volume of gift vouchers Cadhoc increased by 14.6% between January and March this year in Romania.

The value of gift voucher orders went up by 33% per order, according to Up Romania, the former Cheque Dejeuner Romania.

Beneficiaries prefer to use gift vouchers for buying electronics, home appliances, fashion, cosmetics, DIY products.

Companies that offer gift vouchers are exempt from employer contributions and their values are tax deductible. Gift vouchers were introduced in 2006, together with childcare vouchers.
