Expat Fair Romania, the first event for internationals living in Bucharest, opens on October 3

17 September 2015

Expat Fair Romania, the first event in which internationals living in Bucharest can meet specific service providers and find out useful and practical information for their stay in Romania, takes place on Saturday, October 3. City Compass Group organizes this event, which targets all internationals who live, work and study in Bucharest, both newly arrived expats and long-standing residents, individuals, and families alike.

“Taking in consideration a real need of the expat community for such type of events, this year we started a project that aims to bring under the same roof expats in Romania and companies that provide services of interest for a smooth integration in Romania,” said Volker Moser, one of City Compass Group’s founders.

“The Expat Fair will gather in the same place exhibitors that will have the chance to showcase their services and offer special deals, speakers who will host workshops on different topics of interest and people from all over the world that will have the chance to meet and exchange opinions,” he added.

The event starts at 10 AM and will be hosted by The Ark, a historical building on 150 Uranus Street, one of the last standing ones after the massive demolitions in the area in the 80s.

Both, the event and the location, are an invitation for all the expats in Bucharest to explore new areas of the city and meet people who can help them integrate smoothly, and enjoy Romania.

The event will integrate a fair, workshops, and networking opportunities, and will have a full agenda for the whole day. More than 14 exhibitors are already confirmed, as well as over 25 sponsors and supporters.

The agenda of the event will cover a wide range of preferences, from getting information in the exhibitors area, to getting inspiration from the speakers who will deliver workshops or having fun with kids and experiencing the fair’s goodies.
