Czech group completes acquisition of logistic park near Bucharest

Czech developer CTP completed the acquisition of the Mercury logistics park, located near Bucharest, and renamed it CTPark Bucharest West.

CTP paid EUR 15 million for the logistics park, including the modernization work, reports local Economica.net.

The project has a leasable area of 34,000 sqm and is now fully let after local supermarket chain Profi has rented 4,900 sqm. Profi will have a deposit there for fruits and vegetables.

CTP will also complete this year the acquisition of the Cefin Logistic Park in Arad, western Romania, which will be renamed CTPark Arad.

The Czech developer has also invested EUR 5 million in an industrial park in Turda, near Cluj-Napoca, where German producer Fränkische rented a 4,000 sqm area at the end of March 2015.
