The number of passengers who transited the Bucharest airports in the first quarter of 2015 increased by 15.5% year-on-year.

The International Airport Henri Coanda had a record traffic of 1.8 million passengers and 19,411 aircraft movements (landings and takeoffs) in Q1.

The number of aircraft movements at the Bucharest airports increased by 12.6% over the same period last year.

In 2014, some 8.3 million passengers transited the two airports in Bucharest, whereas the number of aircraft movements amounted to 102,048.
