Bucharest Airports Company ups investment budget sevenfold

The Bucharest Airports Company (CNAB), which manages Bucharest’s two airports, has an investment budget of EUR 108 million in 2015, more than seven times higher than the amount spent last year.

CNAB plans to spend almost EUR 45 million on refurbishing one of the two runways of the Henri Coanda international airport in Otopeni, reports local Wall-street.ro. The airport runway has been operating since 1969, and its last rehabilitation took place in 1993.

In 2014, the company’s investments reached almost EUR 15 million, down 30% compared to 2013.
