British stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr brings his show to Romania

Famous British stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr will have his first show in Romania, in June this year. He will perform at the Sala Palatului hall on June 3.

Jimmy Carr, 42, started his career as a comedian in 2000 and since then he has launched 8 DVDs which sold over 1.5 million copies. He’s also among the comedians with the high number of shows each year.

He featured in some popular TV shows in the UK, such as Top Gear and The Panel, as well as in the US, where he was invited in the Late Night with Conan O’Brien and in The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He also appeared in Comedy Central Specials.

Tickets to the show, which is called Gagging Order, are already available online on myticket.ro and in Diverta bookshops. Prices stay  between RON 100 and RON 250 (EUR 22-56).

Jimmy Carr’s show in Romania is organised by Livehouse Comedy, a live entertainment platform which, in past years, brought other known stand-up comedians to Romania, such as Eddie Izzard, Dylan Moran, Pablo Francisco and Michael Winslow.
