Adriana Duncea becomes first Romanian woman partner at law firm Mazars

Adriana Duncea (in picture), 41, managing lawyer - Duncea, Stefanescu & Asociatii and Head of Legal Services in the Romanian office of Mazars, was recently promoted as partner.  She is the third Romanian partner at the company’s Bucharest office, after Gabriel Sincu – Head of Tax & Outsourcing and Adrian Vasile - Head of Audit & FAS, and becomes the first female partner.

Adriana Duncea graduated Law at the University of Bucharest, and has over 15 years' experience in consultancy, representation and legal assistance services. Her main areas of expertise are commercial and fiscal litigation, as well as corporate and real estate. Adriana Duncea has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association from 1997.

Consultancy and legal firm Mazars has been on the Romanian market since 1995 and posted a turnover of over EUR 4.2 million in 2012. The local team includes over 120 people, part of the 13,500 employees the company has in 71 countries.
