Volunteers Fest, the only event in Romania dedicated to all volunteers, will be organized between April 1 and April 28, 2013. Workshops, training, sports, theater plays and other activities will be organized, hopefully making the event both fun and informative for the volunteers taking part.

A play will be performed on stage on the first day of Volunteers Fest on April 1, at Open Pub in Bucharest, starting 18:30.

In the first week of the event, also named Creative Week, the volunteers will be able to participate at photography, origami, handicrafts, creative recycling, or dance workshops, while the second week - Educational Week - will be dedicated to developing participants’ skills through several training sessions that will cover areas such as public speaking, leadership, social media and sales.

In the third week of the festival, called Practical Week, the volunteers will have to demonstrate their team work abilities, while in the last week - Sport Week - they can participate in the Volunteers' Olympics and demonstrate their skills in football, volleyball, and basketball championships.

There will be a concert for all volunteers in Silver Church club in Bucharest on April 25, 2013, which will mark the end of the event. More about the Volunteers Fest on the event’s official website here, or on the Facebook page here.
