Romanian technology firm UiPath hires CFO from HP

UiPath, the Romanian-based company specializing in software robots that automates business processes (Robotic Process Automation - RPA), has recruited for the position of chief financial officer (CFO) an executive from one of America's most powerful technology companies: HP’s former Global Controller and Executive Officer Marie Myers.

"UiPath announces the appointment of Marie Myers as CFO,” the company informed.

From her position, Myers will report directly to Daniel Dines, CEO and Co-founder of UiPath, and will provide financial expertise to support the company's global mission to accelerate the adoption of automation in public and private sectors, and by companies, regardless of their size.

Myers joins UiPath team from HP, where she served as Global Controller and Executive Officer. Leading a team of 2,200 employees, she was responsible for both financial statements from all HP countries and HP global financial operations.

Marie Myers has spent most of his career at HP and Compaq, holding several leading positions, including VP Finance Operations of the PC and Chief Audit Executive. She led the HP's "Finances of the Future" initiative, directing the organization to adopt emerging disruptive technologies - such as RPA and Artificial Intelligence (AI) - to modernize its financial operations and become a pioneer with even greater impact on digitization financial sector.
