Stephane Batoux moves from helm of dairy maker Danone to Coca Cola Hellenic Romania

Stephane Batoux, the former general manager of dairy producer Danone Romania is the new general manager of Coca-Cola Hellenic Romania & Moldova, according to Romanian media. He will replace Michalis Imellos, the interim GM, who has been named Chief Financial Officer for the group, at the Athens HQ. Imellos took over the helm of Coca Colla Hellenic in 2011, after Romanian Calin Dragan left to be director of operations for Coca – Cola in Japan. Dragan took the helm of the local Coca – Cola Hellenic subsidiary in 2005.

Stephane Batoux has been working for the last three years on the Romanian market, initially as GM for Romania, then for the whole Balkans region. Batoux holds an MA in economics from the University in Kent, and am MBA in finance and purchasing from Ecole supérieure de Commerce de Bordeaux-Ecole de Management.

Coca-Cola Hellenic, with 1,800 employees, bottles its beverages in three factories in Romania. Coca – Cola, which is present on the Romanian market since 1991, is made of Coca – Cola Romania SRL and Coca – Cola HBC Romania. The latter is the Coca-Cola bottling company. Coca Cola Romania owns the brands and the beverages concentrate.
