Romanians get two months of famous American films with free daily screenings at National Library in Bucharest

For two months, American movies will be celebrated in the Romanian capital via a series of free screenings organized by the US Embassy to Bucharest. The screenings will take place at the American Corner Bucharest within the new National Library headquarters in the Romanian capital.

The schedule includes American films nominated for or awarded with Oscars; all the movies will be subtitled in English.

The films will run Monday to Friday at 14,00 between July 23 and September 27, except for the period between August 15 and 30, when the National Library will be closed down for cleaning.

The American corner is located within the National Library – 22 Unirii Blvd., Bucharest - in the E wing, first floor, rooms E 01-03.
