Romanian Government prepares joint meeting with Hungarian executive

The Romanian Government is preparing a joint meeting with the Government in Budapest in the future, government sources told News.ro.

The meeting will most probably take place in Timisoara.

Romanian foreign affairs minister Teodor Melescanu recently said that the relations between Romania and Hungary need to become a model for other countries in the region.

Melescanu met at the end of February with Hungarian foreign affairs minister Péter Szijjártó in Budapest. Further development of economic relations between Hungary and Romania is a priority for the government led by Viktor Orban, said Peter Szijjarto.

Romanian Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu will also participate at the meeting of the Party of European Socialists at the beginning of this month.
