The Viennese orchestra the Johann Strauss Ensemble will be making its eighth visit to Romania, with another Christmas tour between December 10 and 20. Concerts are planned for Timisoara, Oradea and Sibiu to Cluj, Medias, Targu Mures, Brasov and Bucharest.

The Johann Strauss Ensemble will include Romanian cellist Adrian Naidin as a special guest . Naidin has collaborated with many big names in popular music, including Moby and Shia LaBeouf. Also the virtuoso violinist and conductor at Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna Russel McGregor will join the Ensemble.

The Johann Strauss Ensemble has been on Christmas tours in Romania for the last eight years and each time the artistic director Erich Buchman puts together a special repertoire for the concerts.

This year's tournament schedule: December 12 - Timisoara, December 13 - Oradea, December 14 - Sibiu, December 15 - Cluj, December 16 - Mures, December 17 - Medias, December 18 - Brasov, December 19 - Bucharest.
