The third British Composition Season started in Bucharest in December last year, and includes a total of four performances. The last two concerts will be organized at Tinerimea Romana National Art Center in the Romanian capital, starting 19:00.

The third concert is today (January 27) and will be performed by the Profil Ensemble from Romania. The program includes Judith Weir: The Romance of Count Arnaldos, Dominic Muldowney: On Suicide, Simon Holt: A Knot of Time and Philip Cashian: Moon Song.

The final concert of the series, scheduled for March 27, combines music for mixed instrumental ensemble and choir and will be performed by Romanian Profil Ensemble and Preludiu Choir. This concert’s program includes Richard Causton: Phoenix, Harrison Birtwistle: Songs by Myself and Philip Cashian: Dark Inventions. Read more about the event and see the entire program here.
