Over 20,000 unionists affiliated with Romanian Union Federation CNSLR-Fratia will take part in a rally in Bucharest on Wednesday, September 22, protesting against public sector wage cuts and harsh austerity measures, union leader Marius Petcu said Monday.

Romania won 27 medals and special awards at the tenth edition of the Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments for the 20 inventions showcased by the National Authority for Scientific Research (ANCS). An event which will bring back the charm of the days of old in Bucharest will take place on September 18 and 19 in the Kiseleff Park. The event, called 'Sindrofie la Sosea' (Street jamboree), is organized by the Bright Light consortium and is a stage in the Bucharest in one day project.
