The European Commission may temporarily introduce visas for American citizens co come to European Union member states because the U.S. hasn’t eliminated visas for citizens from five EU countries, including Romania.

The European Parliament has asked the European Commission to introduce visas for Americans in two months.

The U.S. has maintained visas for five EU countries, namely Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, and Poland. The European Commission says it will continue negotiations with the U.S. to get visas eliminated for the five EU countries and will present a report on the negotiations by the end of June.
